Hiiden Opisto is an adult education institution in Western Uusimaa, offering hundreds of courses in many different fields. The teaching takes place through paid courses.

Discounts

A 50 % discount on courses is offered to the students and the unemployed. Submit a certificate of studies or unemployment to the institute’s administration before the start of the course to get the discount.

Study Voucher for Immigrants

Immigrants can apply for a study voucher subsidy, which allows them to take two courses free of charge every academic year. In order to qualify for the discount, the immigrant must also have a municipality of residence in Finland.

You can apply for the study voucher subsidy by filling in a paper or online form with the teacher at the beginning of the course. Study voucher subsidies are granted until the grant funding runs out.

By registering, you accept the terms and agree to abide by them. Fill out the form carefully. In addition, make sure you provide your up-to-date mobile phone number and email address.

Cancellation policy

Please note! The cancellation policy has been updated.

  • When you register for the course, you agree to pay the course fee.
  • Course registration may be canceled free of charge 7 days before the course starts, after which the institute will charge the full course fee.
  • A cancellation must be done online or by calling the institute’s office. Interrupting a course or not paying the bill does not count as a cancellation.
  • A paid course fee means claiming a study place, due to which course fees are not refunded based on interrupted studies.
  • A paid course fee will not be refunded. In cases of sickness, a refund will be given only with a medical certificate.
  • If a course does not take place, the institute will refund the paid course fee. If the course operator interrupts a course, the course fee will be refunded in proportion to those lessons that have not taken place.
  • If a refund is € 10 or less, it will not be refunded to the customer.
  • A course fee will not be refunded, if a course is canceled due to reasons beyond the institute’s control.

Course cancellations made to voicemail or online feedback will not be taken into account.
