A 50 % discount on courses is offered to the students and the unemployed. Submit a certificate of studies or unemployment to the institute’s administration before the start of the course to get the discount.
Hiiden Opisto grants a 50% discount to the unemployed and students. The discount is personal. To receive the discount, submit a certificate to the office immediately after registration. If there is a delay in obtaining the certificate, notify the office as soon as possible. If the invoice has already been sent, the discounts can no longer be granted. The discount does not apply to open university courses, specially priced courses, lectures or the benefit of an active student.
The state supports admission to studies at adult education centers by granting a student voucher. The voucher works as a discount. At Hiiden Opisto, a student voucher for one beginner-level Finnish course can be applied for by immigrants whose municipality of residence is in Finland, and who do not have a right to an integration plan.
Course cancellations made to voicemail or online feedback will not be taken into account.
At Hiiden Opisto, language teaching objectives are defined according to the proficiency levels of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). The proficiency level indicates what the language user can do in the language evaluated, whether these skills have been achieved in practice or through studying.
